Chris Seeney. Commodore ODCC
Dear Members,
It is with great sadness that I have to give you the news that our Commodore, Chris died on Christmas day . As most of you know Chris had suffered breathing problems for many years. On Christmas Eve he was admitted to hospital with a serious chest infection and suffered a stroke. He died at 3.45pm on Christmas Day.
Chris was a lovely man, who always knew the right words to say for every situation. He will be greatly missed, not only as our Commodore, but as a good friend and wise councillor.
Ann and the family are devastated and not taking phone calls at the moment. However I am sure that condolence cards and messages would be appreciated by Ann and the family.
We will contact members again shortly with the funeral arrangements.
