Any member participating in any of the club’s social events does so entirely at their own risk. The club and its officers will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage howsoever caused to either the member’s or any third parties’ person or property. Participation in an event is deemed as acceptance to these conditions and the participants waive any right to make any claim financial or otherwise from the club. All members understand that nothing in this release shall limit or exclude the club’s liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by the club’s negligence; (b) any other matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for the club to exclude or restrict liability. All members agree however that in the event that the club is found liable, in no circumstances will the club’s liability exceed £1,000.
